Is the old or new tax regime better for FY 2025-26?

Under the new regime for FY 2025-26 (AY 2026-27), income up to ₹12.75 lakh can be tax-free for salaried taxpayers after the ₹75,000 standard deduction and the ₹60,000 rebate under section 87A.
